Goldline Controls cannot set time and date

Hello All, Thank you for your time reading my post!
I have a Goldline controls board (Goldline Controls G1-066008N-1) that I cannot set time and date anymore. It stays on Monday 12:00 and doesn't move at all, and when I try to change Day or Time by pressing the "+" or "-" button, it reverts back immediately to Monday or 12:00. Also, I have a remote control that talks to the main board via an antenna, and it keeps showing "The base receiver is not responding". I guess those are related but not so sure.
I have done some research and it seems to be the issue of the capacitors. I do notice that the two big capacitors swelled, see in attached picture.
So my question is, are those two capacitors the root cause? If not, any advise on how to fixing it?
Thank you very much!

That appears to be an AquaLogic controller. G1-066008N-1 is the board version #. Looks just like mine.

The capacitors look fine. Mine look pretty much like that. They normally have a little bit of a bulge on top.

Have you tried power cycling the controller? There is usually one breaker used to power the unit that can be turned off then on.

Also, sometimes a controller reset can bring them back.

Some folk have reported that the clock chip has gone bad.

Attached are some diagnostics that you can try.

The configuration reset is within the Configuration Menu near the end. This will erase ALL configurations and you will need to reprogram everything. Sometimes this works to fix a corrupt setting in the controller.

Are you using the local display/keypad unit rather than a remote for programming?
