Iam looking for a garden hose adapter to connect my sand filter to my garden hose. Or connect gh to the cheap plastic hose that came with pool. I want the use this to fill jacuzzi which is 35 feet away.

Is the waste port threaded? It shouldn't be a big deal to screw in a reducer and a male hose thread adaptor.
