Wondering what everyone else goes by for their gallons in the Intex 16x32. Intex says it’s 14,364, but calculating it, it comes out to 17,280. 3,000 gallons is quite a difference I’d think when you’re trying to balance your water correctly.

How are you calculating that? 16x32, with the Intex advertized water depth of 46", is 1963 cubic feet, which is 14,680 gallons. Very close to the advertized water volume from Intex.
Even if I do 16'x32'x52", the wall height which is higher that the amount of water it can hold, I still only calculate 16,591 gallons (2281 cubic feet) so I'm not sure how you're calculating over 17,000 gallons of water.

Well, for starters, I was calculating it at 54 inches, not 52. And I’ve never seen them list the water depth, so that’s exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
I have no worries about the pool math being correct, my concern was the number of gallons I was telling the pool math to calculate from. I do think I’m going to try your tape measure method though. That will be the most accurate. Thanks!
