FOAM! Does frame go on foam?

So about to install my first above ground pool on concrete. I see rave feelings on the use of foam as a base on concrete. This is to be a permanent install and won;t be taken down anytime soon. Where i get lost is once you tape all seams does the foam go on the inside of the bottom half moon frame sections or do those pieces also rest on the foam? If they do, do the vertical pillars also go on said foam? And then finally for the long straps the go horizontally across the center supports, how are the accounted for when using foam sheets? It would seem yolu would have to some how notch those pieces. All insight is appreciated.

The weight of the water would crush the foam the day you filled it with water, possibly causing cracks further into the foam. Follow the manufactures directions on foot/leg placement. I have my pool on 3/4 inch thick rubber horse stall mats, not the legs though. A bit more expensive but worth it IMO.
