Dolphin Premier gets stuck on drain covers

My Dolphin Premier gets stuck on the drain covers. I took the vacuum to the pool store and they refurbished it, and now it's working better and moving faster and not sticking on the covers as much, but I'm afraid when it gets stuck on the drain covers that causes wear/tear/damage to the vacuum and I'd like to find a solution before the vacuum is damaged again. I'm attaching a photo of my drain covers. They aren't flat and they're about 2 years old. Does anyone know of a part or fix I can use on these drain covers to prevent the Dolphin Premier from sticking there?

You can call Maytronics and ask if they have a fix. There's also a main drain clip you can buy that may help prevent your robotic cleaner from getting stuck.

What is a main drain clip? There are 2 drain covers. Is there a photo or are they universal or ?
It's just a clip that attaches and sits over the drain cover so that when the cleaner detects an obstruction it backs up instead of going over it and getting stuck. I believe the one for robotic cleaners is universal. If you go on their site, they should have some more information available for you.

Update: We tried main drain clips from maindrainclipon.com and the attachment tool: 2 clips per drain cover in an X or + pattern at a cost of $72. The tool didn't work for us - we still had to dive down and attach them, which wasn't difficult. The vacuum STILL stuck on the drains, whether the pool pump is on or off. Included with the drain clips is a pamphlet describing another fix, which is attaching parts of a foam pool noodle toy with zip ties to the vacuum cord in specific places to try to nudge or tip the vacuum to move over the drain cover. We bought a pool noodle at a dollar store and zip ties. Even with the smallest section of a noodle section attached, it lifted the vacuum from the floor of the pool so it wouldn't move properly along even flat areas and couldn't climb the walls. My vacuum is a Dolphin Premier robotic. This was an expensive and frustrating. We called Maytronics before we bought anything and they gave us no assistance or ideas.

I just posted a thread about what worked for me- was free- and was easy- (well, after a few hours of researching options/cost etc) A piece of pool noodle- I saw one poster here had used- figured worth a try….

I didn’t have a noodle so I used the similar type foam that my vac had been packed in for shipping- a week+ in- still is working great! Pics are in my post I just put on here:)
