Doheny jet drive ??

Welcome to TFP Buckmaster!

I am not sure about those, but I would ask in the Dohenny fan club thread. I am sure someone there can add more than me, as I'm more knowledgeable on the Dolphin M series. I will say yes, if it's a good cleaner, it well worth $500 or more for any size pool. Especially where you get lots of junk in the pool like me. Good luck on your choice, and hope to see you enjoying a good robot cleaner soon!

Thanks for the welcome.
I read through that thread and did a search on the site but not too much first hand info available on it. Ill give it a shot . It cant be worse than vacuuming by hand or spending the first 20 minutes of my swim skimming the pool floor.

Let me tell you, once you have vacuumed a pool and then used a good robot you'll wonder why anyone would ever do that again. Having one makes pool care SO much easier, and I would tell any friend thata good robot is a must with an outdoor pool of any size.

I'm certain you are correct.
Ill keep this updated with my impressions (even though I have nothing to compare to) and any issues or thoughts. As the cheapest robot on the market, I'm sure there are people interested in its performance.

So it arrived yeaterday. It was easy to setup and use. I read the simple instructions and warnings, attached then bags and sent it for a swim. It did a very good job cleaning my pool. It picked up leaves, polynoses, sand and whatever else was down there. There are no spinning brushes on the bottom like some other robots so it's more like an automated vacuume than a serious robot but the bottom was clean within an hour and I'm a happy guy for now. Unless I see the need for a scrubbing rothot, this will suit my needs just fine.
its worth mentioning there are no drive belts to connect the wheels. It's propelled by the jet of water it pumps through the bags and reverses direction every so often. I like the simplicity of it as there doesn't look like much to go wrong.
So far, it was worth the small price tags and Doheny's delivered next day.
