Connection to replace a Jandy Aquapure 1400 to 700

On the Power Interface Board (PIB) is configured as a Model 1400 by factory default. To configure the board as a Model 700, you must cut the JL 1 jumper. On page 16 of the operation manual, they show where to make the cut.

Why are you moving to a Model 700? It is best to have your SWCG oversized. What volume is your pool

Post pictures of your equipment pad would help with additional questions.

Thank you. We went through a flood and it destroyed the system. It just doesn’t work and the faceplate got beat up by something. We have a 10,000 gal pool. We had it resurfaced a few weeks ago and want to go ahead and replace the system to go back to a salt water pool. After resurfacing we have to run it as a chlorine pool for a month. My husband is good with electronics. I was asking for him. Thanks again. Will let you know how it goes.

OK thanks. The recommendation would remain to stay with the AP1400 to provide more flexibility with regard to % output of SWCG and run time of pump.
Yes - no salt for 30 days after new plaster.
Good Luck with the new plaster. Sorry to hear of your issues with flood.
