Concrete Drainage Channels

Does anyone know a good alternative to these drainage/expansion gaps around our pool? These plastic caps always seem to pop out and if they hang up in the ends people have tripped over them. Any better options?

Welcome to TFP.

I think you are stuck with those caps once they are installed.

There are wider and higher quality drain strips that could have been used at additional cost. Unfortunately builders use the low cost option if the customer does not question it.
