Hi!

What is the best chlorine floater out there that will work and last a long time?

Seems like a lot of them break quickly.

Only time I use one is when we’re on vacation. Otherwise it’s liquid chlorine added daily. We use standard floater when needed. We bought one from the local hardware.

One that's on clearance at the end of the year is best, doesn't get floated too much

I drain a lot of water when I close the pool, so I use this one when I want to add some extra FC and CYA slowly after opening for the season:

I also suspend two of them on a cord in the middle of the pool prior to closing with 4 pucks each so I can provide some FC in the pool over the winter.
