We have lots of caterpillar poop falling in the pool. I’m out there cleaning and scrubbing 3-4 times a day but there a multiple brown spots from overnight where it sat. Chemicals are balanced and I just shocked the pool. Should I do anything else? Can the kids swim or we shouldn’t until we get these trees cut down?

I would remove the poop before swimming. Ensure the chlorine level is in the target range for proper sanitation
FC/CYA Levels
The poop is removed. Can’t say more won’t drop in during swim though. I just shocked the pool and most of the stains are gone or faded drastically. So as long as my chemicals are balanced and I am diligent with get the poop balls out, they can swim?
