My Polaris pump died and kind friend is going to give me his since he now uses a robot. What plumbing operations and parts are required to bypass his booster pump once it is removed. Thanks!
You can either connect the lines to/from the pump and make it an additional return, or the suction line can be plugged off and also the outlet in the pool should be plugged off.
If there was a step down from his main plumbing size (1.5" or 2") to the 3/4" Polaris fittings, be sure to remove them and replace with the appropriate size pipe/fittings so as not to have any unnecessary restriction in the return plumbing.
