Bromine questions for spa

Hey everyone! I decided to pick up a inflatable hot tub recently on a bit of a whim and have been trying to get my brain wrapped around the process for maintaining the water. I got impatient waiting on my deck rebuild and decided to set it up for use for the next few weeks so I have a bit of a trial run before I will have to drain and start over. I picked up the Saluspa Coronado from costco which is 840 liters. For chemical I went to Canadian Tire and grabbed some of their Aquarius brand products but I think I may have made a mistake with the choices potentially. I got the Bromine spa starter kit (bromine tabs, stain prevent, foam away, clear it products) as well as a box of the platinum shock. I live in Canada so adding Sodium bromide doesn't seem to be an option anymore. I used the shock a couple of times initially for use on the weekend as the test strips were consistently showing low or no bromine (patience was not my virtue this weekend!). Going forward (and when I restart the tub) would I want the granular bromine product for initial start up to get a baseload of sanitizer and use the tablets for maintaining? Sounds like the shock product is okay to use with bromine but sounds like next time around I'm better off just buying some unscented laundry bleach? Short recap for my squirrely little brain..

1. Get water temp to 30c+
2. Balance water for PH/TA/CH
3. Base load bromine sanitzer with bromine granules, load up tabs in floater for maintaining levels
4. Shock once per week and a small shock dose after each use (chlorine shock product or laundry bleach?)

I'm sure there will be many more questions to come but hoping this will give me some clarity on what products I might still need to get and which ones I can avoid in the future.

Thanks,
