So I finally finished building my semi-inground pool…just in time to figure out how I plan to close it up for the winter.
It’s 9x13 and 4 feet deep with a vinyl liner. The bench top is about 18 inches wide, and the height above the ground is about 20 inches.
With the narrow ipé wood deck/bench around it, I’m not quite sure what would be the best type of winter cover. I’m thinking about getting a waterproof safety cover, but don’t really want a ton of mounting holes in the wood decking—though I could perhaps put the anchors on the side of the pool frame and let the straps go over the edge and down the sides.
Thoughts?
