Best Trees for Pool Area?

Up here NJ I use alot of Leyland cypress. Deer dont mess with them amd they grow wide and not too tall. Evergreen type bush/tree doesnt drop anything and shallow roots
Yes but they don't like “wet feet” so be sure the soil conditions and drainage are right.

i have used a mix of Eagleston Hollies and little Gem magnolias on the south and north fences and evergreens along the west fence. They were planted last November and the holly trees have already grown a foot. The evergreens seem to have a slower growth pattern but are expected to be around 10-12 feet when fully mature. All trees did very well during the freeze.
