Best Thermowell(s) for DS18B20 digital temperature sensor?

It would help if you told us what you were installing this into.
And if you're buying the waterproof probe or if you're using the to-92 package and rolling your own.

Having said that, I'd go with the stainless steel waterproof probe and pick up a plastic cable gland and insert the probe into it unless there's some reason not to.

They also make units that come with a ½" threaded gland.

I'd still try a cable gland. Even though it's not directly in the stream, it'll sense the temp as well as it would in a thermowell.

If you want a thermowell, just search for a ½" NPT stainless steel thermowell, and pick one the length you want (a 2" or 2½" should do it). Standard thermowells are bored for ¼" stems (.260") so that sensor should fit since it's a little less than ¼".

All this assumes that you're not installing it in acid service.
