We just had our pool spa combo done about 2 months ago. So far we love it but being in windy west Texas lots of dirt. Not so much leaves and all but lots of dirt. So far I have been using the vacuum the pool builder included but want a good robot. With lots of curves and seats in my 12x26 free form what will get it the best? I did also just order a pool blaster max from some recommendations. Looks like it will be best for spot cleaning and help me with spa vs jumping the vacuum over real fast. I have been looking at the dolphin cc plus and even spending some more on the dolphin quantum. But now sing the e30. So many to choose from and my pool is very curvy. Any tips ? I have had an Active 20 since 2017 that is pretty good at getting dirt. Really fine dust from a monsoon can challenge it but overall works great. No bells and whistles. Lives in the pool most of the time. Call Marina Pool Spa in Lakewood, CO for advice and great pricing.

Your pool surface does not look like vinyl? Can you check that and change your profile as necessary?

It’s gorgeous!
Most bots won’t really get the steps super consistently so you will probably have to brush those or use the blaster.
My nautilus cc does climb the steps but then just goes back down. Definitely check with Marina - you can email them a picture of your pool

Thank you! We have a small yard at 50x50 and was challenged with pool and spa and still around 240 sq ft for turf for the dog lol. We made it all work. We love it!

Have you used the pool blaster before?

I have the cheapo intex version- it works well for what it is. I use it for my steps (on & underneath) & in my hot tub sometimes- its covered so not much debris. On mine you must be mindful to keep it running while you pull it out of the water or the debris will evacuate itself from the bag & go back into the water. I imagine they are all like this.

Yeah I would think you can’t even turn it off till you get it out since the button is on the machine. I kept seeing everyone rave about it. I went ahead and emailed the people everyone recommended above to see what pool robot they recommend.

When I first got it I was turning it off right after I pulled it from the water but was still over the pool- took me a few times to realize that’s what was happening & if I waited until it was over the deck I wouldn’t get anything back in the pool.
