Best/Easiest Way To Install Solid Cover?

Hi everyone. I am going to close my pool for the first time tomorrow and I was thinking about the best way to install the solid anchor cover. Right now, it is laying out in the yard so I can clean it and my thought was to roll it up and slowly unroll it, connecting every other latch until it is on, then going back and finishing the rest. My wife will be helping as well but I wanted to run this process past the pros here and see if this makes sense and is the best way to do it. I have seen some people mention they get one latch connected on one end, drag it across and do the other end and then work the sides but it is pretty heavy so I am not sure. If anyone has tips/ideas, I would love to hear them. Thanks!!!!

Yarz !!!! How ya been ??? It's been ages. :ROFLMAO:

What worked for me was laying the cover in place first. I did it solo but having a helper to drag it over the pool will help a bunch. It will float well without too much seepage. Once in place, I got the 4 corners on, then went one strap at a time (securing both sides of a strap as a step) at the two middle directions. (Left/right and front/back) from there I did the new middles created by cutting the pool in half. Basically I just kept cutting it in half until it was done.

A freeform probably doesn't have a dead center so just use whatever is closest to that.

I folded it accordian style (I had help for that) so it was easier to pull out once it was by the pool.
