Hey guys long shot here but anyone have any tech experience with auto pool covers. I had mine installed about 3 years ago and the cover will not open. The key pad is constantly illuminated. It will usually light up once a button is pressed. I try to put in my code and nothing happens. Any ideas???

Faulty key pad. I wonder how easy it would be to cut the power and cut that part out and replace with a wired in keyed version? We went with the actual key version because the company said the keypads could act up at times (and it was cheaper, lol)

I've seen replacement parts for those covers so I know its possible to refurnish.

I'd call an electrician.

Our cover brand is Coverstar. It was installed with the wireless switch. It is hard-wired but could connect by Wi-Fi to allow for remote notifications. After a year or three it stopped working. I think it still had indicators showing but the code no longer opened the pool cover. I took a chance and replaced it with the standard Coverstar switch which is a momentary contact switch in a lockable box. That solved the problem for us. Part luck, part not wanting to spend $209/hr.

Here is the place I ordered mine from. I took a stab at finding your part...although now I see you had a code entry type. There is also just the key switch.
