I'm curious to see if a company makes an automatic p; pool valve actuator that can be manually turned by an app on your phone rather than one setting and that it's. I have water feature that I like to control the valve manual by a app rather than one preset. I remembered back in 2019, when I was building my pool, I came across this company that had it, and it wasn't really out there in the open as far a sales go, and now I don't see to have it saved in my favorites.

S,

At the present time automated valves only have two positions... None of them are like a "volume" control on your TV.

Pentair's IntelliCenter has a spot for a "future" adjustable valve, but that has been in work for several years and so far it has not shown up.

Thanks,

Jim R.

If you're a DIYer, you "could" do this by using a simple two channel WiFi relay switch. One relay would turn the actuator clockwise, the other relay would run counter-clockwise. The actuators run on 24 volt AC power. You would need a 24 VAC power source to power the actuators. The same power source will power the switch itself. See the low budget automation link in my sig if it's something you want to try.

Jandy makes a "Smart JVA" controller board that allows valve adjustment on the fly in 5% increments. However, it requires the entire Aqualink setup.
