My Hayward super 1.5hp pump finally went it seems. So I am looking to upgrade to a VS pump. I placed an order for the Calispar 3.0HP pump but they say its on backorder and wont be in until "maybe" next week. I really dont want to take a chance and have it be delayed even further as my pool is just sitting there currently. Does anyone have any opinions about the Aquarstrong brand? I found it on Amazon but not many reviews except for the 3/4 hp. I have a 39k inground

I do not have an opinion on the pump. However, the Hayward superpump comes in 115v version. You should confirm that you have 220 service, or find a VSP that has 115, like Pentair Superflo or Hayward Superpump VSP.
