I have the Taylor test kit but wanted something a bit easier in-between

are these strips good - they have 7 tests on each strip - plan to use them daily and then the Taylor test kit weekly

thoughts ?

That's like going to the pool store for testing then doing your own with the quality test kit

No. Test strips are guess strips.
Use your quality test kit.
I travel (post Covid) and just trying to find something easier for my wife to do daily vs the Taylor tests

maybe we just need to get used to doing the tests as it takes us awhile as some are easier than others. The chlorine test with the powder scoop and we got a speed stir all take some getting used too.

Keep testing with the kit, it becomes second nature.

With a SWCG, after a fairly short time, you will be able to go a couple to several days between testing. Eventually, you will get to the point one of you will look at the pool and go 'that does not look right' and know that it either needs chlorine or acid.

This. I give mine the "eye" test everyday. If I'm missing the TFP sparkle, I test and adjust right away. Otherwise I test every few days, unless we're having weather changes (like spring and fall) that impact FC usage. When I'm dialing in SWG percentage and run time, I test more often.
Next week we'll have kids in the pool every day. I'll be testing daily at least, and probably more often.
Agree that once you're used to it, and have the speed stirrer, it's fast.
I was the road warrior pre-covid, and had to talk hubby through the process. It's not rocket science, and the secondary pool person will get up to speed pretty quickly.
