I've seen a lot of posts between here and reddit saying how much they like French grey, I went to my builders showroom today for the first time and my wife and I really liked it. I told her part of the reason I like it is because I've seen a lot of others praise it, and also it's considered a level 1 color (at least where I live). For me to go up each level of colors it's $500 extra, and to me the water color looks great with French grey. Anyone regret it?

Same boat here! We were planning on doing blue surf but changed our decking/copping from ivory to silver travertine and I think the french grey will look better. This is not my pic (got it from a FB group I am in)IMG_3608.JPG but this french grey and the decking is silver travertine. Very similar to what our pool will be but we have the same silver travertine for the copping. This is our tile too.

That looks great, I have concrete decking now and really no plans on replacing it since it would probably cost more than the entire remodel I am already planning. I got one estimate in today, mind you these prices are all with level 1 pebble sheen colors, tiles and coping and I am at 14k. French grey pebblesheen, sterling grey bullnose or squared coping, and blue glass mosaic tile. The pool is 30x15 rectangular, 4ft shallow 7ft deep. I am honestly about to pull the trigger, I've called so many places and most don't even answer the phone. Was supposed to have another estimate today, they called at 9am to tell me that the estimator is sick and can't come out until next Friday.

That sounds like a good deal to be honest I'd jump on it. We are working building our second pool now and I had all intentions of doing a self build but I couldn't get any subs to call me back or give me pricing so I gave up and went a pool builder again.
