Using Autocad google earth and checking against house roof measurements I've worked out it has a surface area of 219.61 square feet, the minimum depth is 3.5 feet and maximum depth is 5 feet, minus three steps into pool taking away from the volume approx 6 cubic feet and a bench sea of approx 12 cubic feet bench to take off the total also.

So if I say average depth of 4.25ft (half way between min and max depths) multiplied by the surface area = 933.3425 less the steps and bench volumes = 915.3425 cubic feet = 6847 gallons

Does that all add up and seem about correct? the maximum dimensions of the pool are 21ft by 12 feet

Do I add extra for the water in the pipes and system?

Here it is below and thanks for your time

A did a Google search and found a number of "Pool Volume Calculators" online:
Atlantis
Pentair
Inch Calculator
Poolbots
HTH Pools
All American Pool Company
Ottawa Valley Pools
Good Calculators

The calculator results from my pool varied from 30,039 to 35,593 gal. The average was 32,462, so I settled on 32,500 gal.

After acquiring an accurate electronic pH tester, over time I have been able to use the PoolMath "Effects of Adding" prediction to compare the estimated pH change vs the actual change for a measured amount of added Muriatic Acid. My results correlate well when I use a pool size of 32.5K gallons.

Next time you drain and refill, note the start and end readings on your water meter. Subtract household usage to get an accurate pool volume.
