Test your fill water for TA.

I probably should buy a hose filter for fill water for future needs. Any brand you recommend?

The only thing that will remove TA is a reverse osmosis system. With the amount of water you likely use a RO system big enough would be cost prohibitive.

Lower TA with Acid. If the acid additions are burdensome, then here is an article for you:

I have it but only for inside house....anyway i check ta and see

I figure i start adding muriatic to lower TA, since high TA will raise PH. I read about aeration you posted but not there yet...lets see if this will help for a few days. Goal to get TA below 100 and then manage PH only at that point. Agree?

GM. I tested fill water TA and you were right, its at 130. I guess i have to hope on some heavy rain and meanwhile manage PH with muriatic...i may do the aeration if water becomes a problem visually. Right now crystal clear
