Is that Costco online or at your local "store"? Aiper seems to have a number of discounts available online (15% off is pretty common) and sometimes you can stack them, but $449 is pretty good for the N1.
I always lurk and look at them but haven't pulled the trigger.
Temu has a couple of basic models around half price. I've been stalking them because for that low, I wouldn't care if it lasted 3 years and it wouldn't even have to get the really fine debris. As long as it got the big stuff I could manually vac every 3rd week when the farm dust / pollen started building up.
I agree with you. I'll happily vacuum it every other week or so, but I don't like seeing leaves at the bottom of the pool a day or 2 after vacuuming it. An inexpensive robot would (hopefully) take care of that.
I've also thought about buying the cheaper battery-operated ($100 or so) vacuums that look like a mini HammerHead cleaner.
The problem with buying a pool cleaner of Temu is how do you get it repaired. Dont expect one of these super cheap ones to last 3 years without needing a repair. Even my Aiper has had to go back. Aiper covered the shipping both ways and I was only out the cleaner for about 2 weeks.
