Just announced at CES.

All cordless and battery powered which seems interesting.

However, I think before I buy one of these I would ask them what replacement parts cost. Ie motors and batteries.

Their cordless vac is out and on sale for $139 so I might just buy one of those for the spa.

Does Aiper have a good track record? The seagull pro looks intriguing, though I dont see anything saying if it will do a sloped floor.

They did a big Kickstarter campaign last year for their battery powered Seagulls. Not sure about longevity as they are too new. My guess is that if you go with their latest offering, you’re going to have to be a beta-tester guinea pig. As long as they offer their product with a good warranty, it should be fine and at most you’ll have to deal with the frustration of shipping stuff to get fixed.

Not sure about their warranty. They seem to be stuck in the 1 year mode. The SE that I bought only had a 1 year, and I cannot find anything on the new Elite Pro other than if you buy now they will extend the warranty by 3 months which suggests a 1 year.

The elite pro lists in the comparison table as well as in the faq as flat floor only.

Since i need some level of vacuum solution and I found a $70 off coupon, i pulled the trigger on thier handheld vac to play with. It arrived today and thus far seems to work well. I was able tonattach it to my pole and do a once over on the pool in about ten minutes. A larger head would have been apreciated but it seemed to work well for what it is and will tide me over until i find a robot soution.20230110_185610.jpg20230110_185616.jpg20230110_185942.jpg

For now what I bought is the handheld which is attached to the pool pole.
While we had the cordless smorobot, we used the hook attached to the pool pole

I tried the Smorobot with nothing but problems. May try the Elite Pro. $669 right now. Not sure about the small wheels, and don't like the idea of an internal bag rather than basket.

Just ordered one! Amazon has the $130 off deal, so $670. Worth the 30 day trial, easy Amazon return if it fails at acorns or drains. Should be able to review next week. I'll probably add the 2 year extended warranty for $80 if I like it, 4 year warranty is pretty good for one of these. Love my Aquabot SP200, but hate the cord and weight, and interference with my Betta2.

Be interested to see what you think. I will probably end up selling my Seagull SE, my pool is probably too big. It can find a nice home with someone else.

I ended up getting their vacuum and will test that out in the spa today.

I will probably wait for the Seagull Pro. Hopefully they have a launch sale. Will also buy it from Amazon and add the 3 year warranty.

I am curious if you got one mesh bag or two? I bought direct from aiper and it only came with one but the amazon listing clearly shows a large mesh and a fine mesh. At the end of the day I only paid @70 after the coupon so for half price I'm ok with one bag lol,

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it. I too need a vacuum for the spa and the Aiper looks decent. Hopefully better than what’s been on the market for a few years as the others seems to fail pretty quickly.

The Aiper vacuum is ok, not great.

First impressions:

The attachment where you put the pole into is too big. It does not slide in all the way, which also makes it hard to remove. I guess over time it will wear and be better. Or I can just sand it down, but still a ding against it.

The vacuum head is rather small and the wheels are too recessed. So it does not run smoothly against a pebble surface. Again probably something I can file down but not something I should have to do.

Let me use it a few more times and I will give you more details. I have not really measured the suction on it yet. But it did pick up most of the debris in the spa.
