Advice on Chlorine Tabs while away (Pool Time MAXBlue)

Hi all,

I'll be away for a couple of weeks and wont be able to use LC on my pool, and would like not to comeback to a green swamp . What do you guys think of these tabs as a temporary measure?

Is it true that 2 Tabs ~= 1Gallon of LC (10%) ?

Those tablets will most likely have copper in them . Please do not use them. Get plain Trichlor tablets. 99% trichlor.

2 tablets will add 5.5 ppm FC to your pool, essentially equal to 1 gallon of 10% liquid chlorine.
They will also add 3.3 ppm CYA and lower your pH.
