So the autofiller is awesome and small money imo compared to the cost of the project. Also cheap insurance for a pump, specially a VS pump @ $1000+.
Plus, you dont have to get the dang hose out.
If you Google that jandy filler, there is some reports of the sensor failing. It is a plastic housing with wires covered in encapsulating compound. Problem with that stuff is it dries rock hard. When you bend the wire I believe it creates a gap for water to potentially enter. Before install I put some silicone around the wires and pins. Time will tell if I get good life out of it. Either way, I have conduit and a straight 60' run back to controller so I can feed new sensor in the future.
