the float should slide down the cord towards the robot easily, it takes some fiddling with it to get it to slide away from it. I have to slowly move the float towards the robot and then slows reverse direction away from it to keep if from grabbing the cord.

Have you checked your cable float distance between the robot and the top of the water to ensure that its not causing the robot to float or become un-weighted?

Those are my firewater bowls. The ice is the result of the wind blowing the water stream everywhere The water comes out of a direct feed scupper. Pool temp is 36 degrees.
