Can anyone recommend a decent pump we can get to pump off the water collecting on our cover? Not wanting to spend a lot (was an expensive pool year!) and something easy to operate. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thank you! We aren't able to remove our leaf net without having to undo a spiderweb of ropes used to keep the cover down (we have an unusual setup and only way we could keep the cover down. Will this pump clog up with leaves underneath or is it covered in a way the water should still pump out in spite of leaves? This is what we use on most of our accounts:

A standard sump will tip over too easily. These cover pumps are essentially a lightweight submersible enclosed in a wider base with a low-level float. Little Giant makes a blue version and it's a little smaller (barely) but a little more. They both work the same.
The pump impeller won't clog because its too well guarded by the enclosure, but it may attract leaves that are suspended in the water to the base. Depends on how loose the leaves are.Thank you! We don't see this issue unless the water being pumped out is several inches deep and littered with debris, which would not occur if the pump is in place before rain accumulates to that extent.
I actually have two with me I pulled from our shop because they're going to a new pool tomorrow. I've attached a photo below.
Thank you for taking the time to post! I will look into this one as well. We have to have something soon with all the rain expected. Didn't think to do this earlier...I have this one - I am pretty sure its the same as the more expensive wayne cover pump. It works great & is a great deal especially if you can get one of those 20% coupons

Upon closer inspection, the link you provided appears to be a different model no. than the picture you posted. Are they in fact the same thing? I don't know much about pumps to know if it's apple/apples so to speak! The pump impeller won't clog because its too well guarded by the enclosure, but it may attract leaves that are suspended in the water to the base.
