Dealing with a filter pressure issue! Sand filter, Hayward super pump, when I start the pump the filter pressure is around 15 with good return flow, within an hour or so the pressure rises to a little over 20 within little to no return! No leaks on plumbing around the filter/pump! Any help will be greatly appreciated

You don't have a filter issue, you most likely have an algae bloom.
What is your CYA level? What is your FC level?
Is your pool water clear, cloudy, or green?

Headed to customers pool now, I’ll check chlorine levels, pool is clear! Customer stated the problem arose when she dumped shock into one of her skimmers
+1. If she clogged something, it's still clogged.
Everyone always thinks their filter is bad, but on the contrary, the filter is working GREAT. So great even that it's clogged with algae in an hour.

That would not cause the pressure to rise.
Maybe the filter is plumbed incorrectly or maybe the wrong multiport.

How much "Shock"?
What type of "Shock"?
What filter?
What multiport?
Dumping chemicals into the skimmer can potentially clog a sand filter especially if the person dumps in a lot or if they dump in several different types of chemicals at or near the same time.
Calcium products (calcium hypochlorite, calcium chloride etc) with sodium carbonate are the most likely to cause fast scaling.
Check the plumbing to make sure it is not reversed.
Plumbing is correct, I have put a new pump, vari-flo valve and nothing changed, today I replaced the sand and lateral assembly, backwashed, rinsed and went to filtration and pressure was at 7psi after 20 mins of run time!
Guess I will find out in the morning if that corrected the problem
I'm still going with algae. Clogs wouldn't clear then re-clog repeatedly. Cracks in filter assembly IMO would cause less PSI, not more.
Algae however, can be backwashed to clear the problem, re clogged, or temporarily beatdown to non issue levels only to return in a couple weeks/months looking like a new issue.
An Overnight Chlorine Loss Test proves that you held FC with no UV loss, meaning nothing was brewing on the microscopic level that can't be seen yet.
If it was an algae problem would we see some type of algae growth in the pool water? Water is clear as drinking water!
Algae is microscopic. By the time you can see it, it's exponential growth is a runaway train.
