Purchasing Pentair Rebel V2 Head Only

Shopping around online, I see many places selling the head of this cleaner for about $200, while full kits are ~$500. Does anyone have experience with purchasing the head, necessary hoses and fittings separately? Which components are needed for this to function properly? Our pool has a dedicated suction port, so I assume all I need is the leader hose, enough hose segments to reach all four corners of the pool, and a hose float(s). Any advice would be appreciated.

The manual is attached. It shows the installation procedure. You will also need hose floats and a cover (Vac Lock type) for the suction port. The cover holds the hose in place and closes for safety when the cleaner is out of the pool and the pump running (entrapment hazard).
