Hello, I have a leak on the inlet of my Jandy 460 Filter housing. I first tried tightening the end cap and it cracked which is one problem. In the process of trying to remove the bulkhead I realized I couldn’t remove the broken end cap because of the lip on the other end of the bulkhead. I thought it was screwed on but now it looks like it’s glued on. How am I supposed to replace the bulkhead in this case? Is there an easier way? I have attached a pic.

Thanks in advance!

It appears the hand nut has broken. Search 2" union split nut repair.
It replaces the hand nut with a two piece that connects together around the fitting that goes into the filter.
Thanks, I will try that. I will let you know how it goes!

Easiest is to cut the tailpiece off flush with the fitting (labeled Lasco). Glue in a 2" pipe extender.

Install a new assembly (R0522900).

The split-nut that fits a Jandy bulkhead/half-union is hard to find.
