My pool area, although having while shellstone pavers is somewhat dark at night. I'd like to brighten the area without taking much away from all the lighting colors in the pool itself. I currently have some up/down sconces but need more lighting and have a screen enclosure. I was thinking something like the following but wanted to know of good quality products that wouldn't break the bank. These don't seem to light up much:

Are all three photos choices you are looking at? I like the middle (green) one best.

Are you looking to just buy something or are you a bit of a DIY guy?

You can buy 20M LED strips from eBay. You can get RGB or just white. Buy the IP67 ones (the strips are encased in a silicone sleeve). Also buy the 24v ones. Depending on how many you put up they throw off a lot of light. They are also dimmable.

Each strip is about $50 you will need a power supply and if looking for changing colors a controller as well.

Plan on changing them out every few years. Cheap LED from china, what else can I say.

I just put a strip on my fence to light up a hedge. I will try to take some pictures at night. I actually had to face the light away from where I look they were so bright.

Yes, DIYer. Would love to see the photos.

Its the changing out that bothers me but I guess if something was rigged up good it could last long.
