I’m not finding a lot of information comparing Stonescapes MICRO pebble to Mini pebble surface finishes. Anyone have information? What cost difference did you see if to upgrade to MICRO? We are told $3500 for mini to $6800 for micro finish on a 15x30 pool design. I’ve researched it’s the smoothest surface for this brand. Most of our friends have Mini pebble & it’s very rough for our autistic son that he wears water shoes, so we’d like a smoother surface. I’d love to hear from real customers to see if there truly is a big difference between the two and it’s worth the the extra cost.

There is no such product called "Micro Pebbletec" listed on Pebble Technology's website, PebbleTec Pool Finishes - The World’s Most Trusted Pool Finishes
(No such thing as mini Pebbletec either)

You need to find out the exact product and manufacturer for the finish you are purchasing. If you desire to purchase a PebbleTec product your applicator/builder must be registered here: Find a Builder - Pebble Technology International. Don't pay for a PebbleTec product and allow something else to be installed (It's happened to users here).

You are correct. Thank you. I’ve modified my post to request info on Micro vs Mini Stonescapes brand as our builder uses NPT products.

The plaster companies I am familiar with using don’t go that far south, I have pictures but they won’t help demonstrate it’s smoothness.
It’s still possible to end up with a rough finish even when the smallest aggregate is used, truly is in the hands of the application crew.
