Soake pool under construction

Got started this week on our Soake pool construction. So far hole, trench, and base are complete. The pool is being delivered on Monday and will share updates as we progress.

We chose 13x7 Soake with a black tile and will use same pavers as our current patio.

Soake uses all Jandy equipment and it comes with the pool. Automation, salt water, cartridge filter, variable pump, and 260k heater.

Yes, my neighbor is giving me his. He no longer has a pool. I think it got it from here he was the one that told me about the forums.

On the bottles there should be a date. Regents can go bad due to time or not being stored correctly (out of the heat and not exposed to sun).

-Get a sample of your water and run all of the tests except the CYA (CYA has to be added to the water so your fill water will not have any).

Hee, hee. Kim is not a college professor, so she won’t be administering an exam to you! Her fingers are moving too fast, she means “reagents,” the chemicals we use to test pool water. They have a shelf life…

Plumbing and light have been run from pool to equipment area, trench backfilled, pool partially backfilled, and made it through some of the inspections.

Fence is in, pool fully backfilled, and pool coping is next!
