Hey guys I bought a pair of these to protect my one touch keypad in the house from the transient strikes in the ground. I have one on the panel and one in the house before the keypad.

Does anyone know how to connect this without totally messing things up?
 
Should be straightforward with an input and output.

What is your concern?
 
I was considering one of these to go between my RS panel and my Raspberry Pi for AqualinkD.

Jandy uses 2-wire RS485, so follow the wiring examples in the quick start guide here: LINK

Assuming you are using an external power supply at each end, I would put the devices on the "protected side". You will only need to connect Data+, Data- and GND. In Jandy land this looks to be (but I cannot confirm, so no guarantees):
Data+ : Black
Data- : Yellow
GND : Green
