Hello Everyone,
We have an underground pool and when we set the pool pump to filter after about 10 to 15 minutes the water is hardly moving. When we have it on recirculation it's like rapids.
On Sunday we started getting the pool ready. Bought new inserts for the filter pump (Hayward) as the previous ones were broke. The pool started out dark green and is now cloudy blue. Since Sunday we have put 9 pounds of shock in each night and leave the pump on filter. We done this for the past 5 nights.
Is it possible that we have a leak in the line? But if there's a leak wouldn't this also affect the pressure of recirculation? Is it possible there is alge blockage somewhere? The pressure on the pressure gauge shows 30 when it's hardly flowing.
Any light that anyone cam shed would be greatly appreciated.
