Help identify stain? Is it Iron?

Finished slamming pool, water is balanced but these stains persist. 2 weeks of brushing.

So far everything I’ve been reading it’s either iron or bacteria.

anyway to test it and identify so I can buy the right i to treat it?

Ps: pool is very old and came with the house. I’m planning on remodel this winter!
