I am the facility manager for a large health system in Ohio and have recently taken charge of a nursing home facility. The campus has an indoor pool and spa and I have zero experience with pools. Looking forward to learning.
You have to understand that your pool is not only considered a “commercial/public” pool BUT it is also inside a “healthcare facility”. That puts your pool in whole different world of regulations and you should check in with your local regulatory authority (dept of health, county or state) to see what your are required to do by law. Everything we teach here is geared towards PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL pools and so it may not work for you. Please check regulations before you do anything.
We’re happy to help with understanding and the basics of pool care but specific sanitation and chemical balance requirements may very likely be different.
Oh, and study the phrase “fecal incident” well, you may run into those from time to time
