Recently my wife has been on a kick of making everything at home from soaps to detergents. I usually use powdered dishwasher soap for cleaning my spa filters every few months. I wanted to see if the ingredients in her new dish detergent were ok for doing this before going for it. Her dish soap consists of salt, borax, washing soda and citric acid. Thank you.

I usually hose them down weekly but when I change the water every 3-4 months I run spa with ahhsome and leave filters in for the purge, hose them off, then soak them in dish detergent for 24 hours then hose off again, let them dry and put them aside until I swap water again. (2 sets of filters for spa to avoid downtime between cleanings) Thanks for the link for the filter cleaner attachment I may purchase that as well looks like a good setup.
