A couple weeks ago I installed a new blue torrent vs 1.5hp pump. I’ve been running it on manual mode with no issues. Today I started to set up the schedule mode and now when on manual mode no matter what speed is selected the pump is locked on 2500rpm (which is speed 2) for a ten minute duration. This is really annoying because it like to backwash the sand filter on a higher speed but can’t. I’ve read the manual ten times and don’t see anything about a set lockout of ten minutes when pump is started. After the ten minutes counts down it resets to 24hrs and I can change speed as usual. But once pump is stopped to turn multi valve and started back it defaults to 2500rpm no matter what speed is selected then ramps up or down the speed to whatever was selected after ten minutes. Any help would be appreciated

Are you sure that start up speed is not a priming speed and duration? Look at the priming setting int he pump.
I don’t see anything in the manual about a priming setting. That sounds like what is going on but I can’t figure out how I turned it on or how to turn it off.
