    Thanks for that!

    White Flakes

I do. That’s why my fill water has no calcium in it. The way it’s hooked up, it softens all water right as the main line enters the foundation. So even the outdoor faucets are softened. Am I to assume it’s ok to swim in this water?

    3-Way Valve

The two pipes in front of the pump are coming from the pool inlet ports. 2 skimmers. How would I add the Jandy valve with the metal remover thing there?

But my fill water has no calcium. So am I still wrong?

    White Flakes

Before I started doing my own testing (about 2 weeks ago) Leslie’s told me I needed to add Calcium and Alkalinity Up. I did so not knowing I actually didn’t. About 2 days after I began to see tiny white flakes (like snow flakes) floating. I began reading here all the posts about calcium...

    3-Way Valve

I also want to add a waste water line but I’m not sure where I could do that. I’ve read a few posts about putting a T balve between the pump and filter, but I have the thing that removes metal from the water there. I’ve also read a post where someone put a T valve where the filter drain plug is...

    3-Way Valve

I don’t have any valves in my plumbing. Should I install any? If so, what advantages are there to having 3-way valves on your return and/or pressure lines?

I’m not sure where you are located but I think Duda delivers for around $116 total.

    I Got Lucky

Right around $103. Not sure if I saved much money by driving out there vs getting shipped, but I took my mom with me and she like to get out and ride. It’s 35-45 min drive from me.

    I Got Lucky

I called them first to make sure they had it in stock and they pulled it and brought it up front. But once I got there I just walked in.

    I Got Lucky

I lowered my PH to 7.2 because I read to get it to the bottom of the range before adding Boric acid. But then in PoolMath is says that adding 34lbs of Boric Acid will lower PH another .2, putting me at 7.0. Should I wait till tomorrow to see if my PH rises .2 and then add the boric acid or just...

    I Got Lucky

When you find out you only live 45 minutes from one of the only places that sells granular boric acid, you take a drive!

Where Do I Go From Here

Here are my latest test results. Couple of questions: 1) Do I need to lower my TA more? 2) Will my PH rise naturally with aeration from pump and SWG? 3) Can I add Borates now?

Knowing all of this, would it be better to maintain the salt level toward the higher end of the range, 3200-3400?

I think I misspoke. I just went into the App and I have T-Cell-CELLS340. Which according to the website is the 40K.
