With these temps and 110-120 heat index ratings we're loosing about 4-5 ppm FC a day. Every night around 9pm I dose to my top of target which is 9 and by the next night same time iam down to about 3-4 ppm FC.. I have plenty of gallons on deck to keep it under control but was just wondering if...

Success!!.. tested 8ppm FC and 0.2. CC.. I went ahead and bumped it up to 9 so it holds over during the day.. the sun is brutal right now in tx Thank you all the help.. now I just gotta retest and balance out everything eles

Updated test shows a drop of FC to 8 ppm from 11 ppm yesterday at 5pm to 8:30 pm today Using my new full face I was able to do a long and detailed inspection on all the floor and walls.. no algae to report

slight update... had wife add the recommended amounts of Muriatic acid and chlorine this morning.. but unfortunately was not able to get a fc level during the day.. just got home and tested to 11.8 fc.. Added the 5 drops of 0003 and no change from clear.. I literately could not see any sign...

Today when I get home I'll be giving my wife a class on fc testing so she can keep an eye on it during the day.. I took that snap shot on the ring at 10:30 am and its already 95 deg The sun is definitely going to fight me with the FC

with my CYA at 60 the pool math shows my target FC level is 7-9 thats my shock level?

I can see green spots here and there so I can almost certainly confirm algae just small traces of it.. would it still warrant a overnight test?

pool is super clear just some spots started to appear if i brush it, it falls off no problem, i gotta assume its from being so low on FC while I did the drain and fill to lower CYA..
