Yes, I am aware that message on the pump screen means it is connected to the controller. My question was what are the settings I need to have in the Ext Ctrl section? Should it be Enabled or Pump Off?

Thank you for the advice. I put the teflon tape on it but I think I overtightened it. The leak is worse and a crack is visible. I loosened the spigot a little to allow the crack to close some. I have someone coming to help me cut it out and replace it.

That is correct. The screen on the pump shows "Pump Address 1, Display Not Active". Also when I put the oasis controller in Service Mode, I can manually start the pump using the pump controls.
