    I’m interested in this too. I had my pool Chlorine levels at 7ppm since opening for the summer. Lowest it went was 5ppm. But for some reason I got mustard algae growing on the walls. Everything else is balanced So annoying.

    I was scared too. If you have a t100 test kit, test daily, trust the results and adjust chemicals as necessary. Backwash and brush daily. In no time it should be sparkling clean.

    Recommend DE brand to use?

    I have a 48" Pentair FNS plus filter and been using Leslies brand DE powder. I heard that it wasn't great and can clog up in the bottom instead of coating the grids.
