    What's your current pool temp?

49 F degrees this morning and SWG quit working. Fair amount of rain yesterday with nightly temps in 30's is really putting a damper on water temp and more so on my mood haha. Just want to swim, been open since mid April. Hopefully the weather warms up soon.

Disappointed in Maytronics Dolphin Active 20 Cleaner

My inground is 32 x 16 vinyl with the corner stairs as well. Got the S200 and it kept climbing the steps to the top one and get hung up in the corner. So I returned and went to the Active 30i. Main reasoning was the floor only option. Notice the same behavior with backing up to the wall and...

    SWG and water temperature

So newly installed Circupool RJ45+, water clear and balanced, and salt tested at 3400 ppm. Really excited to energize and use it but my water temp is holding at a balmy 55F. Is it best to hold off until the water gets into the 60s? And thanks again to this forum for a great opening using TFP...

MD - VA - PA - DE - DC - When are you opening?

Didn't check water temp, but water is cloudy when I peeled cover back to take a look. Planning to open this weekend or next. No intent to swim just want to get the water right. Did test water and reading 0 chlorine left from closing, PH at 7.2.

    Proximity of swg to heater

Or the flow switch. I can install that after the swg with this model. I believe it states the swg can serve as the straight pipe distance requirement.

    Proximity of swg to heater

It's a circupool rf45+. I wonder if the 3' for the intellifo is needed cause the control panel is integrated on the swg and is heat sensitive?

    Proximity of swg to heater

Is there any restriction with installing a swg on the elbow directly out of the heater return? Have just enough length to install swg but its close. Thanks

    Circupool RJ45+ Install Advice Please

Texas, thanks and great write up. I was lazy and purchased the same kit MacGyver. Although I am still leaning to buying a new union kit for the pentair heater, replacing the DWV elbow set out of the heater return to raise the elevation of the pipe so I can invert the SWG cell, and run it...

    Circupool RJ45+ Install Advice Please

So I researched the fittings and read the post in the link. I can honestly say you learn something new everyday. Since I have no leaks, I will leave them alone and better educated to repair in the future. Thanks for that, lol. So option 1 using vertical installation? I do like the idea of...

    battery pool vacuums

I have used the Pool Blaster Max for almost two years. Good suction and also using the silt bag which appears to capture the fine debris pretty well. For those of with vinyl, did you leave the wheels on the vacuum head? Im probably too over cautious when I think about it. But I stayed away from...

Great. The use manual states brushes for vinyl pools and I read that wheels are not recommended, so I was confused (not the first time). Thanks for the reply. I will try to post a picture when I get to my computer.

    Pool Blaster Max LI

First year with ig vinyl pool and can't thank everyone enough for all the great info on this site. Opened, cleaned, and balanced water based on tfp kit. Picked up a pool blaster with silt, sand filter which works great. I am confused on the vac head having both wheels and brushes. Should the...

Pool is a block of ice, but is ready to overflow

Thanks for the pictures. I guess that's what i couldn't figure out. Although i did not measure, it appears that the water level in the pool would exceed the coping before coming out of skimmer riser. Just looks close. With more rain expected here this week, I thought I would be safe in draining...

Pool is a block of ice, but is ready to overflow

Still raining here in Pittsburgh and close to overflow, but temperatures are warm for this time of year. The ice is about 2" thick and not frozen to the sides or skimmer throat. Appears to be floating with 1/2" space around edges. Is it safe to lower water level now since it has floated up about...

Pool is a block of ice, but is ready to overflow

I understand your concern. First year with IG vinyl pool in Pittsburgh. Drained to about 14" below loop loc mesh cover in fall, but had extremely cold/wet winter. Coming close, about 2" from top. Frozen as well. I keep telling myself to leave it alone. I would think lowering the water...

Thanks. I think Pool City is near that location. Met with one PB this evening. Meeting with 2 more tomorrow. The builders I have spoken with install vinyl liner types, no fiberglass builders yet. This project is consuming a lot of my limited brain function. Incredible amount of planning...

I have two contractors scheduled early this week. I will check out artistic as well. Left a message with del suppo last week. Leaning towards a rectangle 14'x30'. The freeform seems to jump in cost and be less size. But again, I'm just meeting with PBs next week. Not sure about a sundeck...
