I get them after heavy rains in the summer too. They don’t accumulate as much during the summer I suppose because I’m quick to throw in the robot after every rain.
I’m in Ohio and I get unbelievable amounts of worms in the winter as well. During the winter months, when water isn’t frozen, I run the robot. Just peel back a corner to toss it in.
Car was in the garage, thankfully . Asphalt shingles. I’m having an existing leak around the fireplace looked at soon, while they are here I’ll have them look at the rest of the roof to make sure no damage was done!
