Hi There,
I'm located in South Texas where I have a Very Large Posr Oak Tree casting shade over my 30,000G pool. It also casts woolly aphid honeydew into it. The Honeydew is clogging my filter . We have back washed the filter 2 days ago and the filter pressure is running high again. I have sprayed the tree and tried to remove the aphids that way ,but it all goes into my pool. HELP!!!
I cannot continue to backwash my pool filter every 2 days,my pool looks like an oil slick.

Have you looked into the long term problems with woolly aphids and your tree? I have hemlocks and those things are basically a death sentence, not sure how well oaks survive them but it looks like you have a pretty big infestation of the little guys. Tough to get rid of on big trees.

Nice price on those! I switched to the hair nets as well after seeing the recommendation on this site - Love them and much more economical! Just didn't want to throw somebody for a loop suggesting hairnets in a pool... wasn't sure the idea would make sense to someone that's never used a skimmer sock.
