White spider in pool

Anyone has any ideas what is this spider looking bug in the pool (picture attached) and if I should leave it or get rid of it?

The only harmless spider IMO, is a dead one.

Maybe a Dolomedes albineus (White-banded Fishing Spider).

Why would you want to leave a spider in your pool. Heck my grandkids freak at times about a sugar ant.

A little update, once I touched it, it got out of the water, and to my surprise it is a brown spider. I am still can my find out what kind of a spider it is.
